Marcus Wallinder, known as Meanwhile In Nowhere, is a minimalist graphic artist whose work combines AI-driven processes with traditional digital techniques to create visually striking and thought-provoking compositions. With a foundation in photography and graphic design, Marcus draws from influences like minimalism, surrealism, metaphysics, geometric abstraction, and evolving cultural zeitgeists. His monochromatic works, fragmented portraits, and dreamlike distortions explore the delicate balance between order and chaos, form and abstraction.

Growing up in a family impacted by addiction, Marcus experienced the early loss of both parents, a background that deeply informs his artistic journey. This environment sparked a need to express himself creatively, shaping a visual language that explores themes of identity, loss, and connection. His art transforms memories into visual stories.

Embracing the potential of generative AI, Marcus introduces an element of unpredictability that mirrors his fascination with technology and the unknown.
